I’m a professional in the performing arts for children and young people. I believe that art helps people to grow. As adults, we must carefully accompany our little ones in the discovery of this essential – and wonderful – part of what makes them human beings in the first place.
After working for a long time in the Scènes d’enfance – ASSITEJ France team, as head of communications and international affairs, and having been a member of the Executive Committee, then Vice-President of ASSITEJ International (International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People), I am now an artistic agent and independent consultant.
I work mainly internationally, in Europe, Africa and a few Asian countries. My work consists of identifying shows, which I sometimes distribute, and helping programmers to meet artists and programme their season or festival. I also carry out studies and advise artists and artistic communities for young audiences in southern countries in their search for recognition and political support.
(This horse is reminiscent of one of my first aesthetic shocks, a Laurel and Hardy film, in which Laurel meets Hardy again after his death, in the form of a white horse).
