Ficelle (String)
A journey woven from little bits and pieces…
Is this a story?
If the arising of emotion is already a story, then yes, it is a story.
This is the story of two forms of expression that together seek a poetic way to take hold of the world.
A puppeteer and a musician accompany a tiny creature made of string on a journey where we learn to take risks…
To dare to fall so we can rise again,
To dare to face our deepest fears,
To dare to give so we can receive,
To dare, finally, to venture into the unknown of our own existence.
And so…
Thread by thread, Ficelle’s world unfolds—fragile, fertile, hostile…
Thread by thread, these little things that make up the essence of life are woven together.
A journey of discovery where music and puppetry weave together moments suspended in time.

Together with Romain Baranger, my musical partner in Rose, we aim to deepen the dialogue between the world of sound and the visual world, to approach music as a material and material as music, and to find within this interplay the pulse of emotion, the rhythm of action, and the joy of performance.
