I’m a professional in the field of performing arts for children and young people. I believe that art helps people to grow. As adults, we must carefully accompany our children as they discover this key – and wonderful – part of their humanity.
After working for a long time in the Scènes d’enfance – ASSITEJ France team, as head of communications and international affairs, and having been a member of the Executive Committee, then Vice-President of ASSITEJ International (International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People), I am now an artistic agent and independent consultant (and a photographer).
I work mainly internationally, in Europe, Africa and a few Asian countries. My work consists of identifying shows, which I distribute, and helping programmers to meet artists and prepare their season or festival. I also carry out studies and advise artists and artistic communities for young audiences in southern countries in their search for recognition and political support.
(This horse is reminiscent of one of my first aesthetic shocks, a Laurel and Hardy film, in which Laurel meets Hardy again after his death, in the form of a white horse. The deep grief I was feeling had been transformed into a wonderful creature).
