Little blue
Création 2026
Little Blue drifts in a small boat across the vastness of the ocean. Throughout this solitary journey, Little Blue faces the fears, dangers, and uncertainties of the unknown, hoping to find her way home.
Through this production, Nina Vogel invites the audience on an inner journey where imagination transforms reality. A hat becomes a boat, the folds of a long skirt trace the ocean’s waves, while a half-mask morphs into a cloud, rain, or the sky. The entire world of the performance comes to life in the performer’s stage costume.
The audience is invited to participate in this adventure by collectively creating the soundscape of the journey using objects passed around during the performance.
At the end of the journey, the audience is presented with a collective choice: to save Little Blue… or to let him continue his journey alone.
How do we care for the children of our planet?

The various kingdoms of Little Blue come to life from just a few LEGO bricks. Just as in children’s free play, they appear, transform, and disappear as visitors make their way through the exhibition, inviting the audience to imagine ever-changing landscapes.
Serving as both a dramaturgical and scenographic choice, LEGO bricks offer a universal language in which imagination knows no bounds. Their lightness and modularity make it possible to build a miniature world in constant transformation, while giving the production great flexibility in terms of staging.
The performative costume, too, becomes a landscape, a puppet theater, and a performance space. All the elements of the show unfold within it before returning to their proper places, making *Little Blue* a production designed for theaters, festivals, and unconventional venues, with the possibility of staging multiple performances in a single day.
